#38 NEW PLANTS LOS ANGELES
New Plants (Los Angeles) is a book of drawings and paintings by Jonas Wood. There is also an interview with the artist. The book was made to accompany an exhibition of Wood’s work at the Hammer Museum in early 2010. Some of the works are reproduced in black and white, but most are in color. The book is a nice size. It is perfect bound and the design is simple and good. I bought my copy at Anton Kern Gallery, who produced the book, but I think it is probably available some other places (I know Printed Matter has had some of his other books). New Plants was produced in an edition of 1000.
